Here it comes…
Are you ready for the onslaught that is coming called Superman?
Gonna be honest I thought the first trailer released was a massive improvement on the Zack Snyder’s Ayn Randian-pilled Superman. It harkened back to a time when comic books were fun and breezy. And while I’m sure there are massive universal stakes within this new take, it might also be… enjoyable and not a slog? I guess time will tell, but James Gunn’s history is promising for this aspect.
And why not? Why can’t we have a fun summer movie that gets the audiences to feel good about things, even if only for two hours or so?
I’m not the biggest Superman, or even superhero fan, but I also will always enjoy a good ol’ fashioned show. And so far, it looks like that’s what Superman delivers.
What Else
Ok, so maybe Superman isn’t your bag. Maybe you’ve seen a billion Supermans before it and you’re Supermanned out. Maybe superheroes have simply overrun the box offie landscape lo thees many years and you yearn for something different, something smaller yet fresher.
Well I’m here to help.
Sew Torn doesn’t boast superheroes… but it does boast the admiration of Joel Coen…
You can do two things now. You can watch the short film that Joel Coen watched before telling the filmmaker to turn it into a feature…
… Or you can watch the feature length film for just $5 on Amazon. Why not both?
What Else Else
I’m not even sure what to say about something like this. I’ll just let you watch the video and decide whether you want to live in a world with robot sporting events:
The Rapture are getting back together? There’s nothing wrong with that news! You are unfamiliar with The Rapture? Familiarize yourself!
